JOHN COOPER 
JOHN was born in 1748 in DUPLIN CO., NC. JOHN's father was JOHN FLEET COOPER SR. and his mother was MARGUERITE COORE. His paternal grandparents were BENJAMINE COOPER and ELIZABETH KELLEY; his maternal grandparents were THOMAS COORE and MARGITT. He had three brothers and three sisters, named FLEET, WILLIAM, COORE, ELIZABETH, GRACE and MARY. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 43 in 1791.-
