William C Sparks 
William C was born on April 3rd, 1761 in Rowan Co, Nc. William C's father was Matthew Sparks and his mother was Sara Thompson. His paternal grandparents were William Samples Sparks and Rachel. He had ten brothers and two sisters, named Matthew, Absalom, Jesse, Nathan, Isaac, Hardy, Bailey, Sparks, Sparks, Sparks, Sparks and Sparks. He was the third oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 87 in 1848 in Nacogdoches, Tx. He was buried in Old North Church, Nacogdoches, Tx.General Notes
