Matthew Sparks

Matthew was born on January 20th, 1759 in Rowan, Salisbury, Nc. Matthew's father was Matthew Sparks and his mother was Sara Thompson. His paternal grandparents were William Samples Sparks and Rachel. He had ten brothers and two sisters, named Absalom, William C, Jesse, Nathan, Isaac, Hardy, Bailey, Sparks, Sparks, Sparks, Sparks and Sparks. He was the oldest of the thirteen children.
