Eli Sparks 
Eli was born about 1814 in Ms. Eli's father was William C Sparks and his mother was Mary Polly Fielder. His paternal grandparents were Matthew Sparks and Sara Thompson; his maternal grandparents were William L. Fielder and Elizabeth Hall. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Richard, John, James H, Levi Nathan, Sarah and Eady. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died after 1840 in Nacogdoches, Tx.-
