James Hawkins Sparks 
James Hawkins was born on May 28th, 1814 in Ms. James Hawkins' father was Richard Sparks and his mother was Elizabeth May Cooper. His paternal grandparents were William C Sparks and Mary Polly Fielder; his maternal grandparents were REV WILLIAM COOPER and ELIZABETH SCOTT. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William Fielder Billy, Stephen Franklin, Andrew Jackson, Thomas Benton, John Marion, Mary Ann, Elizabeth C and Sarah Jane. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 71 on September 12th, 1885 in Tx. He was buried in Bosqueville Cem, McLennan Co, Tx.General Notes
