William Fielder Billy Sparks Capt 
William Fielder Billy was born on January 22nd, 1814 in Marion, Lauderdale Co, Ms. William Fielder Billy's father was Richard Sparks and his mother was Elizabeth May Cooper. His paternal grandparents were William C Sparks and Mary Polly Fielder; his maternal grandparents were REV WILLIAM COOPER and ELIZABETH SCOTT. He had five brothers and three sisters, named James Hawkins, Stephen Franklin, Andrew Jackson, Thomas Benton, John Marion, Mary Ann, Elizabeth C and Sarah Jane. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 86 on July 13th, 1900 in Waco, McLennan, Tx. He was buried in Oakwood Cem, Waco, Tx.General Notes
