David I was born in 1144.  David I's father was Earl Henry Ceanmor Of Huntingdon, Prince Of Scotland and his mother was Adelide De Warenne.  His paternal grandparents were King  David I (The Saint) Ceanmor Of Scotland and Duchess Matilda De Huntington Of Northumbria; his maternal grandparents were Earl William II De Warenne Of Surrey and Lady Isabelle Capet Of Vermandois. He had two brothers and two sisters, named The Lion, Malcolm IV, Margaret and Aufrica.  He died at the age of 75 on June 12th, 1219.

‌David I and Maud were married in a religious ceremony on August 26th, 1178.  They had two sons and three daughters, named Robert Scot, John Scot, Margaret Scot, Isabel Scot and Ada.
