Malcolm III, known as Longneck, was born in 1031 in Of,Atholl,Perthshire,Scotland.1   Longneck's father was King Duncan I (The Gracious) Ceanmor Of Scotland and his mother was Lady Sybil De Northumberia.  His paternal grandparents were Earl Crinan Grimas Ceanmor Of Atholl,  Abbott Of Dunkeld and Princess Bethoc \ Beatrix Mcalpin Of Scotland; his maternal grandparents were Siward Biornsson and Lady  Aelfreda De Northumberia. He had two brothers and a sister, named Duncan, Donald II and Margaret. He had a half-brother named Maelmuir.  He died at the age of 62 on November 13th, 1093 in Alnwick,Northumberland,England.  He was buried in Holy Trinity Church,Dumferline,Fifeshire,Scotland.1 1

‌Longneck and Earls Mother were married in a religious ceremony in 1060 in Of,Atholl,Perthshire,Scotland.1   They had three sons named Duncan II, Malcolm and Donald.


Longneck's second family with Saint Margaret Atheling

‌Longneck and Margaret were married in a religious ceremony about 1070 in Atholl,Perthshire,Scotland.2   They had six sons and two daughters, named Edward, Edmund, Ethelred, Edgar, Alexander I, The Saint, Edith and Mary.
