Alexander I was born in 1080 in Scotland.1   Alexander I's father was King Malcolm III (Longneck) Ceanmor Of Scotland and his mother was Saint Margaret Atheling.  His paternal grandparents were King Duncan I (The Gracious) Ceanmor Of Scotland and Lady Sybil De Northumberia; his maternal grandparents were Prince Edward (The Exile) De Wessex Of England and Princess Agatha De Hungary. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Edward, Edmund, Ethelred, Edgar, The Saint, Edith and Mary.  He was the third youngest of the eight children. He had three half-brothers named Duncan II, Malcolm and Donald.  He died at the age of 44 on April 23rd, 1124 in Stirling,Stirlingshire,Scotland.  He was buried on April 25th, 1124 in Dunfermline Abbe,Dunfermline,Fifeshire,Scotland.1 1
