Isabelle was born in 1081 in VERMANDOIS,NORMANDY.1   Isabelle's father was Count Hugh Magnus (The Great) Capet Of Vermandois and her mother was Countess Adelaide Carolingian Of Vermandois.  Her paternal grandparents were King Henry I Capet Of France, Duke Of Burgundy and Princess Anna Yaroslavna Of Kiev; her maternal grandparents were Count Herbert IV Carolingian Of Vermandois and Lady Adele De Valois. She had a brother and two sisters, named Raoul, Agnes and Matilda.  She was the second youngest of the four children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Renaud and Marguerite.1 


Isabelle's first family with Earl Robert I De Beaumont Of Leicester

‌Isabelle and Robert I were married in a religious ceremony in 1097.1   They had three sons and six daughters, named Waleran IV, Hugh, Bossu, Isabel, Auberye, Agnes, Amicade, Adeline and Maud.
