Robert Anderson Toler 
Robert Anderson was born on December 9th, 1839 in Warren Co., IL. Robert Anderson's father was William Payne Toler and his mother was Mariah Anderson Taliaferro. His paternal grandparents were Anderson Toler and Lucy Smith; his maternal grandparents were Robert Brooke Taliaferro and Cecelia A. Ellett. He had six brothers and four sisters, named William Brooke, Thaddeus Coleman, Zerriah Smith, Benjamin Alpheus, Edwin Philetus, Milner M., Lucy Ann, Bertha Payne, Mildred Ora and Ida Ellen. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 52 on May 28th, 1892.-
