Munford Beverley 
Munford was born on March 8th, 1779 in "Blandfield", Essex Co., VA. Munford's father was Robert Beverley and his mother was Maria Byrd Carter. His paternal grandparents were William Beverley and Elizabeth Bland; his maternal grandparents were Landon Carter and Maria Byrd. He had nine brothers and six sisters, named William, Robert, Robert, Burton, Carter, Byrd, James Mills, Peter Randolph, McKenzie, Maria, Lucy, Anna Munford, Evelyn, Jane Bradshaw and Harriet. He was the sixth youngest of the sixteen children. He died at the age of 40 in February 1820.-
