Robert was born about 1642 in Yorkshire, England and his baptism took place in St. Mary's Logate, Hull, Yorkshire, England. Robert's father was Peter Beverley and his mother was Susannah Hollis. His paternal grandparents were Robert Beverley and Frances Fairfax; his maternal grandfather was Robert Hollis. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Philip, Henry, Jane and Anne. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died in Jamestown, Middlesex Co., Virginia. He was buried in Jamestown, Middlesex Co., Virginia.1 -
