Byrd Beverley 
Byrd was born on August 17th, 1775 in "Blandfield", Essex Co., Virginia. Byrd's father was Robert Beverley and his mother was Maria Byrd Carter. His paternal grandparents were William Beverley and Elizabeth Bland; his maternal grandparents were Landon Carter and Maria Byrd. He had nine brothers and six sisters, named William, Robert, Robert, Burton, Carter, James Mills, Munford, Peter Randolph, McKenzie, Maria, Lucy, Anna Munford, Evelyn, Jane Bradshaw and Harriet. He was the eighth oldest of the sixteen children. He died at the age of 61 in 1836.-
