William H. Riddle 
William H. was born in 1859 in Cheroke Co.,TX. William H.'s father was Benjamin Preston Riddle and his mother was Mary Ann Bass. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Riddle and Mary Bynum; his maternal grandparents were Willis Jordan Bass and Elizabeth Lillian (Betsy) Hardin. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named John Byrum, Alexander Willis, Nicholas Buchanan, Benjamin T., Jordon G., Robert E. Lee, Charles H., Mary Emma, Mattie and Effie. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died about 1869 in Cheroke Co.,TX.-
