Sarah Effa (Effie) Riddle 
Sarah Effa, known as Effie, was born on February 23rd, 1878 in Van Zandt Co.,TX. Effie's father was Benjamin Preston Riddle and her mother was Mary Ann Bass. Her paternal grandparents were Alexander Riddle and Mary Bynum; her maternal grandparents were Willis Jordan Bass and Elizabeth Lillian (Betsy) Hardin. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named John Byrum, Alexander Willis, Nicholas Buchanan, Benjamin T., William H., Jordon G., Robert E. Lee, Charles H., Mary Emma and Mattie. She was the youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 90 on September 26th, 1968 in Kaufman Co.,TX. She was buried in September 1968 in White Rose Cemetery,Van Zandt Co.,TX.1 2 -
