Aaltje Claasdr was born in January 1731 and her baptism took place on January 19th, 1731 in Harderwijk.1  Aaltje Claasdr's father was Aart Klaaszn Foppen and her mother was Geertjen Petersdr  N.N..  Her paternal grandparents were Claes Aartszn Foppen and Jannetje Petersdr N.N.. She had four brothers and a sister, named Klaas Aartsen, Klaas Aartsen, Claas Aartsen, Gerart Aartsen and Jannetje Aartse.  She is the fifth oldest of the six children. She had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Claas Aartszn, Peter Aartszn, Goossen Aartszn, Goossen Aartszn, Aertjen Aartsdr and Geertruijd Aartze.
