Aart Klaaszn was born in October 1695 and his baptism took place on October 6th, 1695 in Harderwijk.1  Aart Klaaszn's father was Claes Aartszn Foppen and his mother was Jannetje Petersdr N.N..  His paternal grandparents were Aert Claaszn van Strilandt and Jannetge Foppen; his maternal grandparents were Peter Corneliszn N.N. and Jannitien Gerritsdr N.N.. He had a brother and four sisters, named Peter Claeszn, Geertruijt Klaasdr, Geertruijdt Claasdr, Jannetje Klaasdr and Hendrikje Klaasdr.  He was the second oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 57 in January 1753.  The funeral took place on January 26th, 1753 in Harderwijk.1 1
