Geertruijt Klaasdr was born in January 1694 and her baptism took place on January 25th, 1694 in Harderwijk.1  Geertruijt Klaasdr's father was Claes Aartszn Foppen and her mother was Jannetje Petersdr N.N..  Her paternal grandparents were Aert Claaszn van Strilandt and Jannetge Foppen; her maternal grandparents were Peter Corneliszn N.N. and Jannitien Gerritsdr N.N.. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Aart Klaaszn, Peter Claeszn, Geertruijdt Claasdr, Jannetje Klaasdr and Hendrikje Klaasdr.  She was the oldest of the six children.
