Susanna was born in 1714 in Great Sampford, Essex and her christening took place on April 14th, 1714 in St Michael, Great Sampford, Essex.1 2   Susanna's father was William Hockley and her mother was Mary Bentley.  Her paternal grandparents were William Hockley and Anne Chapman. She had six brothers and five sisters, named William, Richard, John, John, James, Daniel, Johanna, Mary, Ann, Sarah and Grace.  She was the sixth youngest of the twelve children.  She died in 1714 in Great Sampford, Essex.  She was buried on April 15th, 1714 in St Michael, Great Sampford, Essex.2 1
