Jane Anne Groves

Jane was born on December 15th, 1825 in Whippingham, Isle of Wight and her christening took place there on January 29th, 1826.¹ Jane's father was William Groves and her mother was Jane Barnett. Her paternal grandparents were James Groves and Mary Chiverton. She had five brothers and two sisters, named James, Henry, Reuben, George, Charles, Jane and Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 1 in 1826 in Whippingham, isle of Wight. She was buried on November 21st, 1826 in Whippingham, isle of Wight.²³
