Eleanor Plantagenet of was born in 1311 in Grismond Castle, Monmouth, England.  Eleanor Plantagenet of's father was Henry Plantagenet of Lancaster and her mother was Maud de Chaworth.  Her paternal grandparents were Edmund Crouchback Plantagenet and Blanche Capet de Artois; her maternal grandparents were Patrick II de Chaworth and Isabella de Beauchamp. She had a brother and six sisters, named Henry Grosment Plantagenet of, Blanche Plantagenet of, Joan Plantagenet of, Maud Plantagenet of, Isabel Plantagenet of, Alice Plantagenet of and Mary Plantagenet of.  She died in Arundel Castle, Sussex, England.  She was buried in 1372 in Lewes Priory, Lewes, Sussex, England.
