Joan Fitzalan of's father was Richard III Fitzalan of Arundel and her mother was Philippa de Mortimer. Her paternal grandparents were Richard II Copped Hat FitzAlan of Arundel and Eleanor Plantagenet of Lancaster; her maternal grandparents were Edmund de Mortimer and Philippa Plantagenet of Ulster. She had a brother named John. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Thomas Fitzalan of, Richard, Alice, Margaret and Elizabeth d'Arundel. She died in 1435.General Notes
