- In 1826, Betty Favien married William Mather at Bolton that same day as Richard Mather married Mary Rosthorn. They were not brothers.
William and Betty were married in a religious ceremony on January 2nd, 1826 at St. Peter's (Bolton).1 They had six sons and three daughters, named Thomas, John, James, Wright, Wright, William, Susannah, Ellen and Elizabeth. There are no more children.
