In 1939, John Miller Stocks was living with his parents at 55 Cobden Street, Lower Tranmere (assumed as name obscured from register).
Stocks John Miller 24363 was awarded the "Royal Fleet Reserve Long Service and Good Conduct Medal" for services year 1935-1952. This may for his father!
There is a John M Stocks who married Elizabeth Hayes in Liverpool S in 1950. They had Ann E (1951), Stephen P (1955) and Mark J (1965) at Manchester. There isnt a John M Stocks birth in the North of England except this John E, so it is lakely this is the same person - TBC.
There is also John M Stocks who married Dorotthy M Underwood in Liverpool in 1953. They has a son John M in Wallasey immediately after their marriage. They later lived in Liverpool. This couple with the Wallasey connection seem more likely.
