In 1861, now with stated ages of 68 & 72, they are both in John Street, Witton, living with his son John's family.
In 1871, aged 78, James is a widower, now retired, living at John St., Witton, Cheshire.

James and Susan were married in a religious ceremony on August 11th, 1822 in Davenham.5 They had two sons and a daughter, named William, John and Sarah.
Died after 1901 census, so at least 75. Was living in Birkenhead in 1901, and Pheobe died in Birkenhead in 1910, so best (and only close) match for death is as follows:
