Samuel Edward Owen

Samuel was born on March 8th, 1909 in New Ferry and his baptism took place there on April 25th, 1909.¹

Samuel's father was Edward Charles Owen and his mother was Annie Roberts. His maternal grandparents were Ellis Roberts and Ann (Annie) Jellicoe. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Charles, James, Herbert, Joseph, Bertha, Sylvia and Ivy. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 79 on May 11th, 1988 in Chorley.
