Edward Jellicoe

Edward was born in 1829 in Ness and his baptism took place on April 17th, 1829 in Neston.¹²

  15 April 1855, Edward Jellicoe (Bachelor, Banksman) of Little Neston, son of James Jellicoe (a carter) married Jane Woodward (spinster) of Little Neston, daughter of James Woodward (a schoolmaster).
  
  In 1861, Living at the New Homes, Ness. Edward (32) and James (34, also head, assumed brother) were neighbours and both Ag labourer.
