Birth Notes

<male>'s father was John Mather and his mother was Ann Manock. His paternal grandparents were Bold (Bould) Mather and Alice Taylor. He had five brothers and five sisters, named James, Moses, John, Joseph, Samuel, Mary, Alice, Sarah, Ann and Jane. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died as an infant in 1837 in Heywood.¹
