Ann Mather

Ann was born in 1834 in Heywood and her baptism took place there on February 9th, 1834.¹²

Ann's father was John Mather and her mother was Ann Manock. Her paternal grandparents were Bold (Bould) Mather and Alice Taylor. She had six brothers and four sisters, named James, Moses, John, Joseph, <male>, Samuel, Mary, Alice, Sarah and Jane. She was the eighth oldest of the eleven children.

- 21 Jan 1866, Ann married Thomas Manock at St Leonards, Middleton. Thomas wasnt just marrying Ann. He also got her brothers!
  
  In 1871, Moses, John and Samuel (48, 46 & 30) were living with their sister Ann (and Thomas) Maddock and family at Heywood
  
  In 1881, Moses (Widower, 58) and Samuel (41) were boarding with their sister Ann Manock (47) hand her husband Thomas (42) and family.
