William Thomas Mather

William was born on October 4th, 1860 in Bolton.¹

William's father was William Mather and his mother was Martha Smith. His paternal grandparents were James Mather and Mercy Grime. He had two brothers and three sisters, named James, Herbert, Mary, Mary and Martha. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 79 in June 1940 in Barton upon Irwell.²

Death Notes
- The William Thomas Mather that died in Manchester 1926 aged 66 is another. William T and Annie were alive in 1939 with daughter Bertha.

  In 1891, William T and Annie Mather (both 30) were at Nelson Street, Barton, Eccles with daughters Bertha (6) and Ethel (4). He also had Tamar Hadfield, Grandmother (84) from Honely, Yorkshire.
  
  In 1911, living at 13 Nelson St, Patricroft, Barton upon Irwell.
