Walter Mather

Walter was born on October 26th, 1816 in Astley and his baptism took place on December 17th, 1816 in Bedford (Leigh).¹

Birth Notes

Walter's father was Otho Mather and his mother was Rhoda Unsworth. His paternal grandparents were John Mather and Ann Eckersley. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Peter, James, Thomas, Ellis, Ann, Elizabeth and Hannah. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.
