Thomas Mather

Thomas was born in 1817 in Bolton and his baptism took place on April 13th, 1817 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Thomas' father was James Mather and his mother was Sarah Makin.  His paternal grandparents were Elias Mather and Margaret Whittle. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named William, John, James, James, James, Peggy, Peggy, Ann, Ann, Nancy, Ann and Sarah.  He was the youngest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 52 in 1869 in Bolton.²
