Ann Mather

Ann was born in September 1797 in Bolton and her baptism took place on September 22nd, 1797 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Ann's father was James Mather and her mother was Sarah Makin. Her paternal grandparents were Elias Mather and Margaret Whittle. She had six brothers and six sisters, named William, John, James, James, James, Thomas, Peggy, Peggy, Ann, Nancy, Ann and Sarah. She was the fifth oldest of the thirteen children. She died due to a childhood disease at the age of 1 in March 1799 in Bolton. Her burial was on March 18th, 1799 at St. Peter's (Bolton).²
