James Mather

James was born in December 1849 in Bolton.¹

Birth Notes

James' father was John Mather and his mother was Martha Jordan. His paternal grandparents were James Mather and Mary Wood. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Samuel, William, Robert, Thomas, John, Mary, Betsy, Ellen, Hannah, Hannah and Martha. He was the second oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 1 in 1850 in Bolton.¹
