Hannah Mather

Hannah was born on May 28th, 1865 in Bolton.¹

Hannah's father was John Mather and her mother was Martha Jordan. Her paternal grandparents were James Mather and Mary Wood. She had six brothers and five sisters, named James, Samuel, William, Robert, Thomas, John, Mary, Betsy, Ellen, Hannah and Martha. She was the nineth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 73 in March 1939 in Bolton.²

- Soon after her father John died in 1892, Hannah (and brother William in 1891) both married at the Halliwel Road Chapel.
  
  In 1911, Hannah had been married 19 years and had 5 children (one died). She also had Thomas Grendey, Nephew, aged 2 with her.
  
  In 1939, Hannah was a widow at 65 Angles Grove, Bolton. She died just after the census/register.
