James Mather

James' father was Ralph Mather and his mother was Ann Clarkson. His paternal grandparents were James Mather and Esther Mason; his maternal grandparents were Peter Clarkson and Ann Constantine. He had two brothers and six sisters, named John, Alexander, Jane, Mary, Sarah, Betty, Peggy and Ann. He was the second oldest of the nine known children. He died at the age of 62 in May 1857 in Withnell. His burial was on June 14th, 1857 in Withnell.
