Ralph Mather

Ralph's father was James Mather and his mother was Esther Mason. His paternal grandparents were Ralph Mather and Ann Anderton. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Robert, James, Jonathan, Ann, Sally, Betty and Ellen. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 51 in June 1818 in Withnell. His burial was on June 13th, 1818 at St. Andrew (Leyland).²
