Ralph Mather

Ralph was born in 1705 in Anderton and his baptism took place on July 22nd, 1705 at St. Wilfred (Standish).¹

Ralph's father was Thomas Mather and his mother was Margaret Kellett. He had two brothers and a sister, named John, Thomas and <female>. He was the second oldest of the four known children. He died at the age of 83 in June 1788 in Wigan. His burial was on June 17th, 1788 in Wigan.²

General Notes
- Gilbert Mather of Adlington died 1593, with his main heir Ralph under 21. Gilbert's son Ralph is a probable anceston of this Ralph.
  
  Ralph lived at Anderton and (Heath) Charnock and had his children baptised at Rivington. However, some of the later baptism records are indexed for Little Lever, although aslo shows as Rivington.
