Gilbert Mather of Adlington died 1593, with his main heir Ralph under 21. Gilbert's son Ralph is a probable anceston of this Ralph.
Ralph lived at Anderton and (Heath) Charnock and had his children baptised at Rivington. However, some of the later baptism records are indexed for Little Lever, although aslo shows as Rivington.
