Hannah Mather

Hannah was born on December 17th, 1815 in Livesey and her baptism took place on January 12th, 1816 at St. Paul (Blackburn).^1 2

Hannah's father was James Mather and her mother was Nanny (Ann) Miner.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert Mather and Peggy Duerden. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Robert, James, Jonathan, Peggy, Esther, Ann and Elizabeth.  She was the second oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 72 in June 1888 in Chorley.³

‌Hannah and John were married in a religious ceremony on February 6th, 1837 in Leyland.⁴   The family line is yet to be completed.
