Esther Mather

Esther was born in March 1861 in Entwistle.¹

Birth Notes

Esther's father was Isaac Mather and her mother was Elizabeth (Betty) Marsden. Her paternal grandparents were James Mather and Rachel Hamer. She had five brothers and four sisters, named James, Simon, Luke, Joseph, John, Betty, Sophia, Ruth and Sarah. She was the youngest of the ten children. She had a half-brother named Isaac. She died at the age of 66 on January 16th, 1928 in Turton.²
