Joseph Mather

Joseph was born in March 1853 in Edgworth.¹

Birth Notes

Joseph's father was Isaac Mather and his mother was Elizabeth (Betty) Marsden. His paternal grandparents were James Mather and Rachel Hamer. He had four brothers and five sisters, named James, Simon, Luke, John, Betty, Sophia, Ruth, Sarah and Esther. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He had a half-brother named Isaac. He died at 7 months old in October 1853 in Edgworth.¹
