Ellen Mather

Ellen was born in February 1805 in Warrington and her baptism took place on February 3rd, 1805 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹

Ellen's father was John Mather and her mother was Ellen Cropper (Dierden).  Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Margaret Newell. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Peter, Robert, John, Peter, Martha, Margaret, Alice and Alice.  She was the youngest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 3 in August 1808 in Warrington.  She was buried on August 16th, 1808 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹
