Alice Mather

Alice was born in January 1799 in Warrington and her baptism took place on January 27th, 1799 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹

Alice's father was John Mather and her mother was Ellen Cropper (Dierden).  Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Margaret Newell. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Peter, Robert, John, Peter, Martha, Margaret, Alice and Ellen.  She was the fourth youngest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 1 in August 1800 in Warrington.  She was buried on August 14th, 1800 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹
