Alice was born in November 1803 in Warrington.¹

Birth Notes

Alice's father was John Mather and her mother was Ellen Cropper (Dierden). Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Margaret Newell. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Peter, Robert, John, Peter, Martha, Margaret, Alice and Ellen. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died at 2 months old in January 1804 in Warrington. She was buried on January 12th, 1804 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹
