Alice Mather

Alice was born in November 1803 in Warrington.¹

Alice's father was John Mather and her mother was Ellen Cropper (Dierden). Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Margaret Newell. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Peter, Robert, John, Peter, Martha, Margaret, Alice and Ellen. She was the eighth oldest of the nine children. She died at 2 months old in January 1804 in Warrington. Her burial was on January 12th, 1804 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹
