Alice Mather

Alice was born in March 1868 in Adlington and her baptism took place on April 10th, 1868 at Christ Church (Adlington).¹²

Alice's father was Edward Mather and her mother was Jane Norris. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Hugh, Charles, Mary, Betsy, Ellen, Martha, Rose and Margaret. She was the second oldest of the nine children.
