Margaret Mather

Margaret was born on September 3rd, 1883 in Adlington and her baptism took place on November 11th, 1883 at Christ Church (Adlington).¹

Margaret's father was Edward Mather and her mother was Jane Norris.  Nathan Mather and Catherine Bibby were her grandparents through her father's adoption. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Hugh, Charles, Mary, Alice, Betsy, Ellen, Martha and Rose.  She was the youngest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 1 in September 1884 in Adlington.²
