William was born in October 1901 in Tattenhall.¹

Birth Notes

William's father was William Thomas Lea and his mother was Florence Gertrude Aldersey. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Lea and Elizabeth Brereton. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Percy, Ernest, Marshall, Stanley, Florence, Ethel, Daisy and Rose. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 10 in October 1911 in Tattenhall.
