Stanley was born on September 23rd, 1916 in Chester.¹

Birth Notes

Stanley's father was William Thomas Lea and his mother was Florence Gertrude Aldersey. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Lea and Elizabeth Brereton. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William, Percy, Ernest, Marshall, Florence, Ethel, Daisy and Rose. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 80 in July 1997 in Chester.
