Ernest was born on August 7th, 1912 in Tattenhall.¹

Birth Notes

Ernest's father was William Thomas Lea and his mother was Florence Gertrude Aldersey. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Lea and Elizabeth Brereton. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William, Percy, Marshall, Stanley, Florence, Ethel, Daisy and Rose. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 79 on October 25th, 1991 in Chester.
